NWCS Gives Back

LIVESTRONG 2012

LIVESTRONG 2012 Northwest Computer Support Gives BackNorthwest Computer Support is energized for our 2012 campaignIn 2011 NWCS was proud to participate in supporting LIVESTRONG as a member of the Pac-West chapter of the Ingram Micro VentureTech Network.  As co-president of the Chapter, COO Lesleigh Watson upped the momentum for both the chapter and NWCS.

Due to these efforts, Lesleigh along with husband & CEO, James Watson were invited to attend the Ride for the Roses Weekend in Austin, TX.  The event is a long-standing LIVESTRONG tradition that celebrates and thanks their most dedicated fundraisers. Held in conjunction with the LIVESTRONG Challenge Austin, the weekend offers supporters, LIVESTRONG staff and board members to come together.  This experience brought our executive team back with a revitalized sense of purpose and pride in supporting the LIVESTRONG Foundation.

According to LIVESTRONG CFO Greg Lee they aren't alone in this feeling; “It’s that those attending the Ride for the Roses weekend get it. They experience the energy and passion that we have for our mission because they come to Austin and literally experience it. We’d love to be able to bottle that up and share that with the 28M people around the world living with cancer, as well as their families and friends.”

With that energy and enthusiasm we are prepared to get active, and raise $55,000 in 2012.
